Day 6: Freezing Rain and an attempt at Canvassing

We are at the Bernie office! It is still humming with activity. A bunch of us want to go out canvassing today. We are warned that we will get wet, but we think we will be ok. Liz and I join up and we head out. What a mistake!! We make it through some of our list, but our thin poncho is doing nothing to help us. We can't see our phone screens to read where we are supposed to go. My gloves and pants are completely soaked. We call it. When we get back to the office, many of the others were already back, due to the same problems. We decide to warm up and get some pizza next door and then help back at the office.
